The 2022 Billboard Music Awards may only be in two weeks (May 15), but some of music’s biggest names are still seeing their names added to its star-studded performance roster.

Look inside to see the latest acts in line to blaze the stage of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs-hosted affair.

Just days after Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Rauw Alejandro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Burna Boy, and Icon Award recipient Mary J. Blige were the first announced 2022 BBMAs performers, Maxwell, Silk Sonic, Florence + the Machine, and Morgan Wallen add their names to the performance roster of the ceremony set to be hosted at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

For Silk Sonic, who are conveniently enjoying a residency at Sin City’s Dolby Live at Park MGM, the addition continues their award season onslaught as they’ve brought hits from their debut album – 2021’s ‘An Evening with Silk Sonic’ – to the American Music Awards, GRAMMYs, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, and more!

Maxwell, whose hot ‘Night’ tour is earning rave reviews from attendees and critics alike, may be readying the release of his sixth studio album, ‘blacksummers’NIGHT,’ but he took to Twitter to reveal his BBMAs performance is part of a ‘special tribute’ package to ‘an icon.’

As of May 1, the honoree has not been revealed.
